Hotlines has announced that Microshift has joined the distributor’s portfolio as it takes on exclusive distribution within the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Experts in shifters, derailleurs and cassettes, Microshift offer affordable aftermarket alternatives to the big drivetrain brands. They’re also being spec’d as standard on more and more bikes by the likes of Specialized, Cannondale and Marin to name just a few.
On this note, Microshift featured in CyclingIndustry.News’ recent Trade Journal article asking whether smaller drivetrain brands will grab market share as the industry struggles to keep up with both OEM and workshop component demand. For bike shops and indie mechanics struggling for workshop spares the inking of this deal will no doubt be welcome relief.
Gus Juffer, Brand Manager at Microshift said of the new partnership: “At Microshift, we know that it’s not enough to make products that people want – we also need to make our products easy to buy and easy to service. Hotlines has a proven track record of delivering top notch customer service and logistics, so we’re extremely excited to partner with them as we grow our presence in the UK and internationally.”
“Microshift is a perfect fit for Hotlines”, said Ewan Pinder, Hotlines Managing Director, “offering unique value at that level of performance and bringing a whole new category we know our dealers want”.
Hotlines invite dealers interested in becoming stockists to get in touch and should have stock available later this month.
