PBMA opens membership to cycle trade
The Professional Bicycle Mechanic’s Association has opened up its membership program to the cycling industry.
The PBMA is offering four traditional individual member options as well as team and corporate memberships that include additional marketable items.
For the initial launch Mechanic Membership is being offered for 15 months with a $25 discount. Mechanic Members are the only memberships within the PBMA that include voting rights. Mechanic Members must submit their resume as well as work and training history to become fully vetted.
Elected president James Stanfill said of the landmark: “An important part of our membership model is to allow patrons wanting to assist us in starting strong to become Founding Members. The Founding Member program is the only lifetime PBMA membership, intended for a few visionary leaders within our field. As a Founding Member, you are publicly demonstrating that you believe in the PBMA and it’s mission to promote, advocate and develop professional bicycle mechanics, as well as showing confidence in the vision of the PBMA leadership.
“As we move into the future and begin to work on new projects and engage our corporate partners we will offer many additional features to the industry including a series of educational events.”
To see all of the details, as well as special offers running until October 20th, please visit the PBMA
