Polish manufacturer Kross to expand UK presence
Kross Bicycles of Poland, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers, is to follow up on its “soft launch” into the UK market, with dealers invited to meet the brand at the January Bike Place Show.
Producing nearly 300,000 bikes a year on its four production lines, Kross packs a punch, with over 140 models present in its 2017 catalogue. The firm has its own R&D facility with 3D printing and frame testing equipment and a state of the art paint plant producing a multi-layered powder coated and lacquered finish.
Commenting on the brand’s expansion in the UK, a spokesperson told CyclingIndustry.news: “We had introduced ourselves to many at the NEC in September, but our presence at The Bike Place will be for dealers to get to grips with the brand and sign up. Kross is huge in its native Poland and surrounding soviet bloc. What will particularly appealing for bike dealers is that we’re seeking only IBDs as partners. Online and mail order is not where we’d like to see the brand end up.”
Within the portfolio you’ll find everything from kids bikes all the way up to £6,500 road builds for men and women, all of which is stocked in a UK warehouse for quick delivery.
You can register for the January Trade shows here. Exhibitors of The Bike Place are reminded to get in touch with CyclingIndustry.News to ensure their presence in the official show guide.
