Pro Bicycle Mechanics Association signs Beeline and Velofix partners to ranks

The Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association has moved to encourage all mobile bicycle mechanics to join its ranks, with Beeline and Velofix already having pledged to
enlist all of their mechanics as Mechanic Members of the PBMA.

Chris Guillemet, CEO and Co-Founder of Velofix, stated: “In order to build the largest fleet of Mobile Bike Shops in North America we needed to create long-term and profitable career opportunities for professional bicycle mechanics. The mechanic is a critical piece in our business and we believe they should be compensated and rewarded for their contributions. Velofix is proud to support the PMBA and their efforts to empower and create a brighter future for all mechanics”

Peter Buhl, CEO and Co-Founder of Beeline Bikes echoed the statement, saying: “Professional mechanics are the cornerstone of the Mobile Bike Shop business and are vital to providing a great customer experience. At Beeline Bikes, we are proud to support the ProBMA in their efforts to elevate the place of the mechanic in the industry and look forward to continuing to innovate our technology, support systems and best-in-class supply chain to provide pro mechanics a sustainable and profitable career path.”

James Stanfill, President of the PBMA said: “Empowering mechanics and offering them a brighter and more lucrative future are key components of the mobile business model. It’s rare that a mechanic has the opportunity to become a partial owner of the business on day one and share in the revenue they are creating.”
