Restrap unveils Switch ecosystem with rack, cage and 10L pannier

Restrap has launched its new Switch ecosystem, consisting of the Switch Rack, the Switch Rack Cage and the new 10-litre Switch Pannier.

The Switch Rack is a lightweight rear rack constructed from durable materials and designed for versatility. It is fully compatible with Restrap Switch Panniers and all other products within the Restrap Switch Multimount ecosystem, as well as any product or accessory that uses 64mm-spaced mounting points, including standard bottle cages.

The rack features a thru-axle-mounted aluminium alloy construction, providing strength and stability while keeping weight to a minimum. Its rack legs include 64mm-spaced mounting points, allowing riders to attach cages, Restrap Switch Panniers or other compatible accessories with ease. The top bar is also designed to be compatible with upcoming products in the Restrap Switch ecosystem.

A quick-flip system ensures maximum wheel clearance across all bike sizes, enhancing adaptability and ease of installation. ISO tested to carry loads of up to 30kg, the Switch Rack delivers dependable performance while maintaining a lightweight construction of just 395g.

The Switch Rack Cage is designed exclusively for use with the Restrap Switch Rack and is not intended for vertical mounting. It has a maximum recommended load of 5kg and weighs 240g.

The cage features silicone-moulded feet for improved grip and stability, along with three strap slots per side to ensure secure attachment of cargo. It is specifically engineered to integrate seamlessly with the Restrap Switch Rack system.

The new 10-litre Switch Pannier, weighing 520g, is designed for adventure while remaining convenient for everyday commuting. It is particularly well suited to smaller bikes with limited clearance for saddle and handlebar bags.

Constructed from durable, waterproof external fabrics, the Restrap Switch Pannier offers a hardwearing and easy-to-clean outer. This is paired with a fully seam-sealed inner to ensure reliable protection from the elements.

The pannier features an injection-moulded clip that drops directly into the Hiplok x Restrap Switch bracket, enabling quick and secure attachment. A flexible back plate provides structure to the pannier while also dampening vibration and minimising rattling over rough terrain.
