Gruppo Media Limited has announced that the Rouleur Classic will launch in Melbourne, Australia, in November.
The award-winning bike show will take place in Melbourne 28th-30th November at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art.
The show will be produced under license, in conjunction with Corporate Cycling, headed up by Michael Hands and Nathan Lorkin. With a large background in cycling, triathlon and running events, Corporate Cycling delivers premium bespoke events for corporate clients, alongside public events such as the Handmade Bicycle Show.
Michael Hands, Director of Corporate Cycling, said: “We are enormously excited to be working with Bruce and the team at Gruppo Media to bring the Rouleur Classic to Melbourne, it really is a very special event. We’ve spent the last year looking for the right venue in the right location around Australia, and we think that the stunning ACCA and Malthouse Theatre in the heart of Melbourne are the perfect venues to showcase the best of the bikes and talent that are at the heart of the sport we love.”
The Rouleur Classic hosts a collection of the world’s foremost cycling brands, exhibits and talents, providing the opportunity to experience both professional athletes and brands at the pinnacle of cycling.
The Rouleur Classic has announced a stellar line-up of guests and pro-riders in attendance, to be announced over the coming months, together with leading cycling brands which will be exhibiting the latest apparel, components and technology.
The theme for the 2019 edition of the Rouleur Classic is the Grand Tours, three legendary races that are highlights of the season for many cycling fans. Rouleur Classic is officially partnered with the race organisations and will be helping them bring the unique aspects of each race, Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and La Vuelta España, to both the London and Melbourne shows.
Bruce Sandell, Managing Director of Gruppo Media said: “When I first conceived the idea for the Rouleur Classic, it was always with international expansion in mind. I am delighted to announce our partnership with Michael and Nathan on the inaugural Rouleur Classic Melbourne – they bring with them a huge wealth of experience in cycling racing and events, plus loads of vision and entrepreneurial spirit, but more importantly, just like us, they are huge fans of our fantastic sport. I know they will deliver a superb experience for fans in the Asia-Pacific region.”
2019 also marks the 5th Anniversary edition of the show in London, which will be held in the same venue as 2018 from 31st October to 2nd November, in Victoria House, Covent Garden.
