Scott Hillyard departs 2X2 to take Sales Manager role with Silverfish

UK cycling industry sales veteran Scott Hillyard has left his role with 2X2 Worldwide to take a Sales Manager position at Silverfish.

Having spent the past 13 years with 2X2, Hillyard will be a familiar face in the bike business, having spent 31 years already serving the trade in just five roles to date.

He told CI.N: “I’m looking forward to working with some of Silverfish’s recent additions – Muc-Off, Marzocchi and Fox in particular. It’s a complete change in terms of type of product, but it takes me back to the kind of product i used to handle at Lifecycle. It’ll be nice to be working out in the west country. It’s sad to leave 2X2, but it’ll be nice to have a change and I wish them all the best for the future.”

Scott carried out bike focused roles including National Sales Manager at Tandem group, managing a large sales team for a major UK market player whilst looking after several bicycle brands and UK national chains along with over 1,000 independent retailers. On the P&A side of the industry Scott spent four years at Reece and eight years at Lifecycle Ltd overseeing distribution of major P&A brands in the UK.
