Second European Sea Otter books steady growth year-on-year

The second instalment of a European leg of the Sea Otter Classic is reporting bookings already 30% higher than last year’s.

Having announced the intention to double up on last year’s show ground, taking commercial space to 40,000 m2, organisers report having secured 135 exhibitors thus far, with the likes of Cannondale, Cervelo, Cube and Scott on board for the June 8th to 10th event.

76 new brands, 20 of which are bicycle brands, have joined including over 140 accessory labels and 25 service led labels. Newcomers include Fox Factory suspension, Hutchinson, KTM Bike Industries, Merida, Peugeot Cycles, Radon, Riese & Müller, Specialized, Trek, Vitoria and the UK’s Whyte bikes.

Demo remains a focal point of the event which enjoys the varied terrain of the Costa Brava region, as well as access to the nearby city of Girona.

Those with bikes on the circuit include Berria, BH bikes, Bulls, Cannondale, Cube, Focus, Ghost, Haibike, Haro, Lapierre cycles, Lobito, Look, Massi, MMR, Moustache bikes, Norco bicycles, Olympia cycles, SCOTT, Sunn y Whistle. And as great news: Cervelo, Gates Carbon Drive, KTM Bike Industries, Merida, Peugeot cycles, Radon, Riese & Müller, Specialized, Titici, Trek, Vitoria and Whyte Bikes.
