Sustrans moves offices… by electric cargo bike
Sustrans has walked the walk and not just talked the talk by using e-cargo bikes in its big office move.
Moving offices to Tower Hamlets, Sustrans shifted a 117kg printer, 110 storage boxes, 50 crates of IT equipment, three cupboards and two smoothie bikes, using e-cargo bikes rather than a big diesel van.
The move saw Sustrans’ 53-strong workforce locate to the its new site.
The Scottish branch of the charity recently saw a dramatic rise in the number of girls cycling to school following a long-running I Bike project.
