Tern launches click and collect for UK stockists

Moore Large has launched a click and collect service exclusively for its Tern stockists, with the launch of this initiative sped up in response to the Covid-19 lockdown.

With many consumers isolated at home, the distributor has seen a ‘massive increase’ in online shopping, bicycles in particular, which is another key reason for bringing forward the launch.

The site has been developed so that the dealer is in control of when the customer can collect the order; ensuring consumers get a safe, quality buying experience while providing IBDs the time they need to guarantee the bikes are built and prepared to the correct standard.

“We are really excited to have the Tern Click and Collect ready,” said Adam Garner, Brand Director. “Existing Tern stockists know we have been working on this for a little while and now seems to be the perfect time to go live.”

The full Tern range will be available to all stockists via this platform, giving both new and existing dealers the opportunity to see the demand for bikes and accessories across the ranges they may not have yet tried or stocked.

Garner continued: “We have started to see the Government’s emergency transportation fund come into action with many temporary cycling lanes popping up in major towns and cities across the UK. The folding bike is the perfect solution for new customers considering alternative methods of transport; take it into your house or apartment, or stick in a locker or under your desk at your place of work.”

The site goes live on Thursday 28th May at 10am, and can be accessed here.
