The Bicycle Association and CIE launch Diversity in the Cycling Industry survey

The Bicycle Association of Great Britain in partnership with Cycling Industries Europe, Women In Cycling and WORK180, has launched a new, ground breaking, international survey to better understand perceptions, experiences and needs of those working in the cycling industry about diversity, equity and inclusion.

Making the announcement, CIE highlights that taking part in this international survey sees your answers play a crucial role in helping build a clear picture of diversity, equity and inclusion in the cycling industry today, enabling more diverse voices to be heard and creating a culture of equity and inclusion.

Cycling Industries Europe’s (CIE’s) Women in Cycling is an initiative launched by CIE, ECF, Velokonzept, Mobycon and CONEBI, aiming to help women to get more visibility, impact and leading seats in the cycling industry and in the entire sector.

This survey is a collaboration between the Bicycle Association of Great Britain and Cycling Industries Europe, in partnership with WORK180, a leading advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion that helps organisations to raise their workplace standards.

Cycling in Europe

The European Parliament has adopted by near unanimous agreement a new resolution that cements a 17-point action plan designed to “double cycling miles ridden by 2030” in the EU.

Crucial to the ambition will be a detailed plan to develop cycling infrastructure and build an ecosystem for industry that will create 1 million additional jobs across manufacturing, tourism, retail and in the sporting world.
