Volunteer at the first ever UCI Cycling World Championships

Glasgow 2023 represents the first edition of the UCI Cycling World Championships, featuring 13 separate UCI World Championships, scheduled over 11 days of competition; the biggest single global cycling event in history.

Awarded to Glasgow and hosted across Scotland (Great Britain) the inaugural edition, from 3 to 13 August 2023, the local organising committee is looking for volunteers to support and facilitate the event which will see over 8000 elite and amateur cyclists will participate, from more than 120 countries,

The mega event, which will be held every four years, in the year preceding the Summer Olympic Games, will unite around 2,600 athletes from national teams as well as 7,500 qualified amateurs, all vying for some 200 rainbow jerseys of UCI World Champion. In addition, mass participation events attract another 15,000 cycling enthusiasts.

Over the space of 10 to 12 days, the UCI Cycling World Championships host city and/or region becomes the true cycling capital of the world, with tens of thousands of visitors expected to flock to the host region, while images broadcast worldwide showcase the competition venues and their surrounds to all corners of the globe.
