Duro appoints Chris Clinton to US product marketing manager role

Duro Tire & Wheel has announced the addition of Chris Clinton to its North American team in the newly created role of Product Marketing Manager.

Clinton brings more than 30 years of bicycle industry experience in brand, product and technical development. He joins the expanding US division after time as Brand Manager for Bontrager at Trek, Global Technical Services at Mavic and most recently serving as the North American Director for Challenge Tire.

Clinton officially joins Hwa Fong Rubber USA on August 8th, 2016.

“I am excited to play a role in Duro’s ever expanding bicycle business,” says Clinton. “I look forward to a transition from a single brand focus to offering support across multiple channels while expanding Hwa Fong’s presence across the cycling world with its Duro and ēvolve line of eBike tires.”

Clinton will now take on responsibility for Duro’s cycling division direction, as well as expanding the client base across contract and private label business.

“Chris brings a history of proven results in both marketing and product development that will make him a valuable member of our team,” offered Luke Musselman, HFRG’s Director of Business Development.

“Hwa Fong’s position as key supplier to some of the world’s leading tire and tube brands will only be enhanced through his work. Chris will also play an instrumental role as we continue to develop Duro’s standard offerings, especially within the burgeoning urban and eBike segments.”

Duro will be showcasing their 2017 collection of tire and tube products during this year’s Eurobike Show and will be located at A5-303.
