Kevin Burton to lead Simplon dealer drive in the UK

Austria’s Simplon Bikes has recruited Kevin Burton to the role of National Sales Manager for the UK market.

Having previously worked with Madison and Endura, as well as most recently with market researchers Sports Marketing Surveys, Burton has a firm grasp on the cycling business which he plans to apply to his role in recruiting dealers.

Stefan Vollbach, shareholder and General Manager of Simplon said of Burton’s appointment: “I am really pleased to announce Kevin’s appointment, he has a great understanding of the industry and over 20 years of trade experience, which puts Simplon in a fantastic position to make inroads in to the cycle industry.”

Kevin added of his appointment: “I am very pleased and excited to take on this role, I feel we have a great potential to launch our brand with our unique options for purchasing and of course we are looking to grow our dealer network in the UK. We have such a brilliant product to offer dealers backed up with great dealer margins and support. We will be building brand awareness and establishing a network of dealers across the UK and Ireland.

“We have a unique approach for the consumer to purchase, offering 100,000 options to build that perfect and bespoke bike. I look forward to meeting customers and consumers over the coming weeks and months after some very positive feedback and interest at The Cycle Show in September where we presented our range to the UK for the first time.
