Leatt announces new 2019 outerwear collection

Leatt have announced the release of their new weather-resistant gear line designed for winter conditions.

The new 2019 bike outerwear collection includes a new breathable waterproof DBX 5.0 All-Mountain jacket, jersey, and shorts gear set, as well as a  Windblock, soft-shell 4.0 jacket, a lighter 2.0 jacket, and 2.0 Windblock gloves.

DBX 5.0 All-Mountain Gear set offers the highest level of coverage in the outerwear line. The jacket and the shorts are made of HydraDri fourway stretch material, a three layer fabric developed exclusively by Leatt.

The DBX 5.0 jacket, priced at £179.99, includes a new patent-application-pending magnetic hood system, which allows the hood to be folded back out of the way when it isn’t needed. The hood can also be fixed securely to the helmet when riding at high speeds.

The DBX 5.0 shorts have tailored fit with a seamless seat that moves freely on the bike. The 3D-shaped knees avoid snagging during pedalling, even when wearing knee protectors. The shorts are priced at £144.99.

At £69.99, the all-weather 5.0 jersey completes the gear set with Windblock arms, chest and sides. The back is completely breathable due to a moisture-wicking material.

Each item in the gear set has dirt, water and stain resistant fabric coating.

Another item released in the new outerwear line is the DBX 4.0 All-Mountain Jacket. The jacket is constructed from a soft-shell, four-way stretch material with dirt, water, and stain resistant coating. Offering a tailored fit, the jacket is windproof, breathable and has adjustable front and rear ventilation. It also features Leatt’s new Magnetic Hood system and shoulder/elbow Brush Guard. The 4.0 jacket retails at £124.99.

The 2.0 jacket is the lightest in the outerwear bike line which folds up into its own chest pocket. It is made of a four-way stretch waterproof and breathable material with a dirt, water, and stain resistant fabric coating. Dubbed as a wind jacket due to its unsealed seams, the jacket has a X-Flow mesh inner lining and is equipped with the same Leatt Magnetic Hood System. The 2.0 jacket is priced at £88.99.

The last instalment in the 2019 outerwear gear line is the 2.0 Windblock Gloves. The upside of the glove shield hands from colder weather, whilst the super slim MicronGrip palm enable wet and dry grip, with touchscreen compatibility. The palm is further reinforced with silicone grip print and the upper with microinjected 3D Brush Guard on the knuckles, offering abrasion resistance. These gloves retail for £31.99 a pair.

All models are available in three colours: black,ink and ruby.
