LEVA-EU organises e-bike dealer trip to China

LEVA-EU has organised its first e-bike dealer trip to China, taking place 3-10 November this year.

The trip’s aim is to provide European e-bike dealers with a better understanding of the Chinese e-bike market.

Chinese companies such as Bafang, Phylion and Worldpower have agree to open their doors to welcome European e-bike dealers for a visit to their factories. Other well-known names on the programme include Dahon and TAILG.

LEVA views the trip as a, “unique opportunity to meet colleagues from different parts of Europe and exchange ideas with them on the e-bike business.”

The association has organised the trip in cooperation with Dutch information platform, Nieuwsfiets.nu. The trip is priced at €2,175 per person staying in a double room, with LEVA members receiving a 10% discount.

After engaging in the recent European e-bike anti-dumping legal case, which saw European Commission impose anti-dumping duties on e-bikes imported from China, LEVA’s Annick Roetynk gave CIN her view on the decision.
