Refreshed Ragley MY 2023 range responds to market conditions with frame focus

Ragley MY 2023 sees a recalibration of the range using rider feedback, promising incremental improvements, including frames that fit better and pedal better.

In response to the market’s swollen inventory, the Ragley has opted not to offer 2023 bikes: “Stock remains of 2022 models, giving consumers the opportunity to grab a great value complete, or build something bespoke around the new geo updates.” Alloy and steel frames remain at the same price; £349.99 and £549.99 respectively.

Ragley’s geometry tweaks “were not taken lightly”, with the brand keen to please fans but also make good on its mantra to do better in the hardtail market and keep up with rider demands. That translates to a modernisation of its frames that will not “alienate our loyal customer base… sensible changes that make our frames more progressive but not unrealistically radical”. In practice that means shorter seat tube lengths, slacker head tube angles, steeper seat tube angles, longer wheelbases, longer headtubes, lower bottom brackets and frames that “pedal better, fit better, and descend better”, with better frame proportions regarding wheel size used.

MY 2023 includes a Marley 290 to sit alongside the Marley 275. The Marley line-up is Ragley’s trail-focused geometry and now available in 29’’ wheel. The 27.5’’ Mmmbop and Blue Pig frames share a new more aggressive Enduro geometry. The 29’’ Big Al / Big Wig frames share a new more aggressive Enduro geometry. There are Clear Trail and Enduro options to choose from, in preferred material (Steel/Alloy) and preferred wheel size (27.5/29’’), while the TRIG is unchanged.

Alloy frames are in stock now, steel arriving in early June. Find out more via distributor Hotlines, via info@hotlines-uk.com
