Santini part with ZyroFisher, establish own UK distribution team

Santini has announced it will part with distributor ZyroFisher after more than 20 years of partnership.

Of the move, Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling comments, “We are extremely grateful of the work  and dedication that ZyroFisher and all its people have put into distributing Santini in the UK. We have worked well together for a long time.”

“We have now mutually agreed to run the distribution in the UK through the company we established 4 years ago. Santini UK was created to serve the UK market with the extensive custom program.

Daniela Bresciani, Sales Director, added: “This is a new challenge, but we feel that this change will help us to service the UK market in a better way.

The Italian made production in our new factory and headquarters in Bergamo will be key in supporting the retailers through fast and flexible deliveries and the marketing team will focus on delivering for the UK market.”

“The team at UK Santini Ltd. will now start to contact and visit selected dealers and will start by offering presales of SS23 collections.” said Jonathan Sangan, “I have been working with Santini for more than 20 years and I have an extensive knowledge of the UK market. With Custom now firmly established the addition of inline and replica gives dealers a one stop shop for premium cycling and triathlon apparel, all direct from Bergamo”.

Founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini, who spotted a market for technical cycling clothing, Santini Cycling Wear made what would be a farsighted and impactful decision, with the Bergamo-based company deciding to design and manufacture all of its products exclusively in Italy.

58 years on reshoring is today a major industry point of discussion, having been a point of real difference for a number of business who have championed their manufacturing location as a commercial and competitive advantage, when positioned against more than 4 decades of, typically Far East based, outsource manufacturing.
