SCOTT launches new Kids-Junior Line-Up for 2019, covering MTB, Road, E-Bike and Apparel

SCOTT is investing into future riders with its new kids and junior line-up for 2019 which includes kids specific road, gravel and MTBs, an E-bike and a soft-goods collection.

The redesigned junior segment is split into two key collections. KIDS, which includes bikes and hardgoods for little riders up to the age of 11, and FUTURE PRO a broad segment of 26” bikes with some of them having high-end components on carbon frames.

Future Pro is new for 2019 and described as a “collection comprised of clever MTB solutions for those who are ready to leave the kid’s bikes behind and to start focusing on greater goals”. Offered in both 26″ and 27.5″, SCOTT Future Pro bikes come with high-end components and geometries known from their high-end Spark RC and Scale RC platforms.

The face of the collection is the Spark 700 PRO in 27.5” size. Coming with a lightweight carbon frame, a SRAM Eagle Drivetrain and the unique SCOTT TwinLoc Suspension System, the Spark 700 PRO is the ideal next step for any aspiring little racer from a body height starting at 152cm (5.2ft).

SCOTT certainly seem to have pulled out all the stops to cover every category and wheel size as well as all the ride accessories that kids (and juniors) might need. Highlights include:

  • Dirt Roads are now for Juniors too. The SCOTT Gravel 24” has a durable alloy frame, disc brakes and components from Syncros and Shimano.
  • The MTB AR KIDS shoes come in both a lace-up and strap version and offer versatility on bikes and beyond – featuring and a cycle orientated Sticki Rubber outsole
  • The SCOTT Spunto JR Plus is an award winning junior helmet to date featuring MIPS and a rear flashing light.
  • The Junior Softgoods Collection follows the DNA of SCOTT’s adult line. Temperature management, breath-ability, protection and comfort are key pillars.
