Thieves kit up in Falmouth Cycles’ club jerseys in shop theft

Masked thieves broke into Falmouth Cycles in the early hours of Monday morning, clearing Transition frames, Marzocchi forks and even adorning themselves in the shop’s own club kit.

Speaking to CI.N the owner said: “The main stock taken was our entire clothing range including all our wet weather gear such as Altura and high viz jackets, plus race jerseys, shorts and our own cycling club kit, which is printed with Falmouth Cycles’ branding.

“They also took two transition bike frames, a black and blue TR500 and black and yellow carbon Throttle, plus various Marzocchi and RockShox forks. There’s probably lots of other bits they picked up and we’re trying to stock take to see what we’re missing, but luckily no actual bikes other than the two frames and potentially some scooters.”

The shop, back up and running after a clean up, is asking those in the trade to keep an eye out for any of the gear taken and make contact should they spot anything suspicious. The shop’s phone line is 01326 373399.
