Concept store to make a comeback at iceBike* 2019
The 13th edition of iceBike* is fast approaching, with Madison announcing the return of the Concept Store, which was a big hit at the show back in 2017.
The Concept Store gives visitors the chance to pick up hints and tips on merchandising and store layout best practice, and this year’s focus is on offering something tangible that retailers can learn from and take back to their respective businesses.
The Concept Store will also provide layout and POS tips, honing in on the theme of education and customer service.
Several seminars have also been confirmed which tie in neatly to the customer service theme, including customer service expert Alf Dunbar who will be hosting a seminar on how to greet and approach customers, up-sell, close sales and give excellent till service.
Veteran Mark O’Dolan is also confirmed to advise on topics such as visual merchandising, in-store promotions and more, meanwhile Park Tool director of education, Calvin Jones, will also be offering his advice on workshop best practice. The full seminar schedule is to be announced soon.
This year will see around 250 new products introduced at the show, and will also act as a first opportunity to see products from the likes of Park Tool, Elite, Lazer, Shimano, PEARL iZUMi, Thule, Ridgeback and many, more.
Three brands that joined the Madison portfolio last year will be also making their iceBike* debut next month: 100%, Flat Tyre Defender and Cosmo Connected.
IceBike* will take place 19-21 February at Arena:MK in Milton Keynes. Visitors can register for iceBike* 2019 here.
