Bike shops: Win an Exposure Lights Boost kit with CI.N’s market research

CyclingIndustry.News’ 2023 annual market research effort continues to roll out great incentives to indie businesses taking part. This week, courtesy of sponsor Exposure Lights, we can reveal that every 50th respondent will win a set of the new Boost DB+ and Boost-R ReAKT lights, each set worth £135 at retail.

To take part in this year’s study all that we ask is that you are a UK-based independent retailer, workshop, mobile mechanic or online trader. All data is anonymised for the purposes of the report, which you will receive in your inbox upon publication in Q1, 2023. All participants will be entered into each of our prize draws.

If that sounds like a good deal, then you can take part here.

Also announced so far is an opportunity to win a pair of Tempo Artica R5 GTX Winter Boots from Fizik, as well as an Argo Adaptive saddle. Add to that a shot at scooping a pair of Pirelli P Zero TLR tyres, as well as a hotel stay for two in Lyme Regis, courtesy of CyclingIndustry.News. Further chances to win goods courtesy of our sponsors will be revealed in the coming weeks. All who participate will be entered into each prize draw with winners to be announced in Q1, 2023.

About the prize on offer

Built for visibility day or night in the city, the Boost package delivers through a bespoke lens lighting that’s designed to show up in the urban environment, even offering side illumination. The lights are said to have a one kilometre visibility too, meaning if you end up out of town on country lanes you’ll be spotted in the distance too.

The technology contained within this premium light set might be what turns your customer’s head most, however. Built in are the ReAKT and Peloton technologies.

RaAKT is at the pinnacle of smart rear bike light technology. Thanks to sensors built in lights with this tech will flare up automatically under braking and intelligently adapting to the surrounding light conditions to maintain maximum contrast and visibility. By conserving power when not needed, ReAKT can then almost double the max output of non ReAKT models, all while keeping the same compact and lightweight form factor.

Peloton technology, as the name suggests, is designed to dim down when a rider behind is detected, protecting their eyes without total loss of visibility.

Exposure Lights will be one of the brands present at the winter COREbike show, for which you can register here.
