Mavic has a new distributor for the Swedish market

Hartje (Hermann Hartje KG) has announced that it has become the exclusive distribution of Mavic in Sweden.

The move follows less than a year after the business became the exclusive distributor in the Benelux countries and Denmark.

“We are ready for this next step and are delighted with the trust Mavic has placed in us,” comments HARTJE export manager Coen Bosch. “The rather quick decision to expand distribution shows that our base with Mavic is really strong after just under a year.”

The business sees it partnership with Mavic as a strong indicator of becoming increasingly international, enabling a steady strengthen of its presence, especially in Europe.

Nicolas Ravachol, EMEA Export & OEM Manager at Mavic, adds: “We at MAVIC are also constantly looking at possible ways to extend our presence in Europe with reliable partners. For the Swedish market, we had not yet found the optimal solution. But since HARTJE is also moving forward in Denmark and we are on a great path together, this option was obvious for us. We are very confident that this will be a success for both sides, as well as for the Swedish customers. All Swedish retailers who carry our MAVIC products can expect a high-level of support and customer service.”

Since August 1st 2020 Mavic has been owned by French investment company The Bourrelier Group. The family group has a history of business in France and Spain, whilst today it invests in activities geared towards the future and innovation. The group has been listed on the stock exchange (Euronext Growth) since 1996, and today is valued at €250.77M.
