Raleigh introduces versatile Stride 3 eCargo trike

Raleigh has announced the introduction a trike to their eCargo bike range with the Stride 3, now available to purchase online and in store.

As the popularity of eCargo bikes continues to grow, the Stride 3  is said to complete the Raleigh line-up – providing a customers with a choice between a 3-wheel or 2-wheeled Stride 2 eCargo bike.

Fitted with a Bosch Performance CX Cargo BES3 motor, designed to perform with heavier loads, the Stride 3 is designed for carrying cargo, or passengers, and provides extra assistance when riders need it most. Hub gears provide smooth shifting, and an easy daily ownership experience, whilst raised handlebars – with full adjustability – give the rider an upright and comfortable ‘dutch style’ riding position.

The bike comes equipped with in-built lights and mudguards, ensuring the bike is ready for year round use, regardless of British weather, and a battery which is said to provide a range of up to 40 miles on a single charge; ideal for people undertaking multiple short journeys, using the bike as a car replacement.

As a 3 wheeled platform, the Stride 3 offers extra stability for riders and passengers, or riders using the bike in a commercial capacity, carrying heavier cargo loads.
