Tannus to showcase Armour tyre tech at Eurobike

Puncture resistance specialist, Tannus, will be displaying ‘the future of puncture-free riding’ – its Armour tyre insert – at Eurobike show in September.

Tannus announced the Armour last year; a puncture resistant layer which sits between the inner tube and tyre. The insert was officially launched at the Taipei Cycle Show in March.

Armour is constructed of Aither, a nanofoam polymer compound engineered to provide maximum puncture protection due to its near 360º coverage. It also provides run-flat ability thanks to the way it fits between the rim and tyre, protecting rims from damage.

Jazz Walia, Tannus International Sales Director, said: “We’re very excited to showcase our game-changing Armour product at Eurobike. We have unrivalled expertise in state-of-the-art polymer development for puncture-free riding, and with Armour have developed a tyre liner that not only delivers on this, but also improves the ride experience for all cyclists.

“We are the future of puncture-free riding, and with Armour offer an easy-to-install solution to an age-old problem for cyclists around the world.”

Armour is available in all major sizes for MTB tyres, retailing at €29.99, £29.99, $34.99.

Tannus will be showcasing Armour on stand A5-201 at Eurobike. Eurobike show takes place 4-7 September in Friedrichshafen, and is expecting over 1,300 exhibitors from 50 countries.
