Madison’s iceBike* 2020 opens tomorrow

Madison’s iceBike* 2020 kicks off tomorrow, promising attendees a packed seminar schedule and large range of brands and new products on display.

For the first time in the show’s 14-year history, Shimano is offering attendees a MY21 product preview and the opportunity for dealers to get a rare insight into what is upcoming from the component giant. Those wishing to attend the preview will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Education is always a large part of iceBike*, with this year being no different. A packed seminar schedule will cover topics such as Brexit, Retail Finance, Shimano, Freewheel and much more. Former Olympian and SiS ambassador Sir Chris Hoy will also be giving a talk on the Wednesday of the show.

Continuing the theme of education, the Bike Shop concept store will take centre stage once again to offer advice on merchandising and POS best practice. Retail expert Mark O’Dolan will be on hand to speak to dealers and answer any questions.

Madison is encouraging dealers to find out more about Freewheel, its initiative for supporting IBDs, during the show, and speak with the distributor about how their business could be a part of it.

As with every year, Madison’s brand portfolio will be out in full force, including some debutants; ODI, who signed up with Madison in October last year, will be there for the first time. Meanwhile, there will be a plethora of new products showcased during the event; Ridgeback is launching 10 new e-Bikes, DT Swiss will have its new suspension platform, and Saracen will be exhibiting its new Dirt Jump bike range.

Attendees are also encouraged to hang around after the show closes for the day to join for complimentary food and drinks each evening. Dealers can register for iceBike* 2020 here.
